Outline The DG-2432A generates digital test signals needed to measure the performances and characteristics of digital audio appliances‚ D/A converters‚ digital filters and other digital signal processing instruments and outputs these signals in the IEC 60958 digital audio interface format.
The sampling frequency of test pattern is up to 96kHz.
Features ●The DG-2432A generates 100 preset digital test patterns.
The DG-2432A generates 100 preset digital test patterns. It also allows the user to change the details of these test patterns (such as the sampling frequency, test pattern frequency, level, C bit and U bit) optionally through the RS-232C interface.

The copy bit and emphasis bit of the C bits, validity flag, and channel L and channel R muting of the digital audio interface format can be changed manually on the front panel, whichever test pattern is selected.

Signals are output in the digital audio interface format through optical and coaxial connectors for easy connection with digital audio appliances.
●
The UP, DOWN and TOP keys select the output test patterns in the preset order.

The DG-2432A memorizes a test pattern selected when the power is turned off. It outputs the memorized test pattern when it is turned on again.
●
The functions of the keys on the front panel can be remote-controlled through the remote control connector on the rear panel.
